Half caf.
Sitting on the fence between caffeinated and decaf is Waitaanga. Named after the remote settlement of Waitaanga, between Ohura and Mt Messenger, this coffee was inspired by the coffee journey of one of our customers.
A coffee guy who was forced to make the switch from filter coffee and 6oz flat whites to Decaf, but suffered headaches.
Single-shot coffees just didn't hit the same and asked us if we'd create a half-caf blend for him.
We accepted the challenge because we believe everyone should be able to enjoy unforgettable coffee, with caffeine, without caffeine or somewhere in between.

Recipe: Espresso: 20g dose, 45g yield in 30 seconds.
We find this Decaf tastes great from 10 days after roast.
Tip: Waitaanga needs to be ground slightly finer than our other blends to achieve the best results.
